The material used for the base is Bamboo, while the main bracket is made from CNC machined 6061 aluminum alloy. The material used in manufacturing both boilers and engines components are made from 6061 aluminum alloy. The capacity of an individual alcohol lamp is approximately 30ml This boiler is equipped on our steam engine model K007. Due to the K007's configuration of a 14mm cylinder, a larger boiler with higher atmospheric capacity is required for operation. Therefore, the vertical boiler has been redesigned with a conical combustion chamber made of CNC machined 6061 aluminum alloy. This design allows for greater absorption of heat generated by the alcohol lamp burner, maximizing combustion efficiency within the limited size of the boiler and generating sufficient steam. The redesigned alcohol lamp eliminates the use of a wick and instead allows liquid alcohol to be directly added to the alcohol bowl, igniting it for combustion. This design not only provides more heat but also eliminates wick depletion. The alcohol bowl can accommodate both liquid alcohol and solid alcohol blocks for burning, achieving excellent performance. The boiler is equipped with a safety valve that automatically opens to release pressure when it exceeds its set value. Unscrew the safety valve, add boiling water, please DO NOT EXCEED the upper limited of the water level gauge(Please use pure water to avoid impurities in the water blocking the steam cylinder piston, affecting the performance of the machine.), reinstall and tighten the safety valve after adding water. 2. Take out the alcohol lamp from the package, add alcohol with a concentration of more than 75% to two-thirds of the total capacity, and place the alcohol lamp directly below the base boiler. Ignite the alcohol lamp to heat the boiler. In addition to adding boiling water to the boiler, it will takes at least 5 minutes of heating before the water in the boiler boils, generating enough steam to power the steam engine. Please do not start the steam engine prematurely to avoid steam pressure loss in the boiler, resulting in difficulty starting. PRECAUTIONS!!! 1. When the water level is below the lower limit of the water level gauge, heating the boiler is strictly prohibited! 2. During the heating process, it is strictly forbidden to peek down from above the chimney!!! Flames may spout from the chimney, and it is strictly forbidden for any part of the body to be above the chimney!!! 3. Throughout the heating process, DO NOT TOUCH the boiler, cylinder, exhaust pipe, and other high-temperature parts. The steam engine emitted by the machine is hot, so be cautious and prevent burns from high temperature! 4. When extinguishing the alcohol lamp, to minimize the risk of alcohol leakage, please ensure that the alcohol inside the lamp burns completely until it extinguishes automatically, as long as the boiler has sufficient water. If it is necessary to remove the alcohol lamp midway, please use a wet wipe or damp cloth to protect your hands and carefully remove it. Covering the alcohol lamp with a red cap will also cause it to extinguish. 5. Please pay strict attention to the safety of alcohol usage. Children must use the alcohol lamp under adult supervision!
