My story was reduced to a picture that I will never forget. As an adult, the headline story of "Providing Hope for the Homeless" was the article that exposed how this mom of four didn't have it all together as many believed, and I didn't want to continue sailing under that umbrella of a failed equation. I chose to pursue more of what I could do if I knew I could not fail.
